In February 2008 our company became familiar with technology of image printing on the plastic products - In-Mould Labeling as may be called “fusing label” .

Main advantages of IML labels:

- Cost of labeling process reduces because it is integrated with packing process;

- There is possibility to use higher speeds of packing (by 10-20% more of normal speed of packing) because label has firm cohesion with surface that reduces risks of its damage;

- In-plant recording of finished package is easier (if all containers are marked and named, it will be more difficult to mix them up than “nameless” containers;

- Strength of side walls increases by 15-20% as the label becomes something like reinforcement which helps to manage with load on package;

- For label production you may use high-quality printing which means that

package of your products will have clear graphics and photo realistic

image;

- There is an automatic protection against forgery, since IML-technology is a

property of quite big companies which will not take part in “pirate”

production;

- The label and the package looks as organic unity increasing visual appeal;

- Labels have heightened resistance to external mechanic influence, thermal and chemical effects;

- Package may be fully recycled (if the label and the package are made of

the same material).
